The Subaru BRZ remains one of the most enjoyable cars to ride without breaking the sweat – or the speed limit, given its reasonably accessible limits. While moving into the 2019 model year, this does not change, but there is a new limited edition variant on offer for the most discerning fanatics.
The Subaru BRZ 2019 will start at $ 25,795 before $ 885 for delivery and destination, a crash of only $ 200 compared to the 2018 model year. The premium base coating is available only with a manual transmission to six speeds and includes standard features such as LED headlights, keyless access, two USB ports and a leather-finished interior. Its standard 6.2-inch touch screen infotainment system offers integrated apps like Pandora and iHeartRadio, as well as satellite radio.
If you want more comfort and more technology, the 2019 BRZ Limited starts at $ 28,645. Standard equipment increases including dual zone climate control, keyless start-up, heated seats with Alcantara upholstery and a 4.2-inch color screen in the instrument cluster. The infotainment screen reaches 7 inches and adds navigation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A six-speed manual is standard, but a six-speed automatic is also available.
For drivers out there, the BRZ Limited manual gearbox may be optioned with the $ 1,195 performance package. This package adds Brembo four-piston front calipers and two-piston calipers in addition to the more sporty Sachs shock absorbers. Also includes 17-inch alloy wheels that are exclusive to this package.
At the top of the BRZ range of 2019 is the new Series.Gray trim, which is based on the limited trim with its performance package upgrade. The exterior is decorated with a special shade of gray paint (Cool Gray Khaki), black side mirrors and black badges. The interior gets a special trim, a frameless rearview mirror and a special 4.2-inch screen version in the instrument cluster. Only 2019 will be built for 2019 and each commands $ 30.140.
No matter the trim, the engine remains the same. It's a 2.0-liter flat-4 gasoline engine that delivers 205 horsepower and 156 feet of torque. The Subaru BRZ 2019 will be on sale in the fall.
