2020 U.S. program Open TV, coverage, live streaming, watch online, channel, golf streaming times

The first of six majors to be played during the 2020-21 season, the US Open 2020 is officially underway, starting in September for the first time in more than a century. The USGA signature event has a new television home as the US Open returns to the NBC airwaves and the classic Yanni theme song plays again.

As for the second golf course to be held during the COVID-19 pandemic, it should be an incredible four days at the Winged Foot as the world’s best golfers tackle a fun but difficult course in pursuit of prime glory and a share of the $ 12 million bag. Although some have been forced to retire amid positive tests and injuries, none are more noteworthy than two-time champion Brooks Koepka (201

8-19), whose string of injuries also forced him to leave the FedEx Cup playoffs.

Among the main storylines before the event: Gary Woodland enters as defending champion, Dustin Johnson tries to keep playing at the torrid pace he has had for weeks, Jon Rahm tries again to unseat D.J. in a very successful event, and Phil Mickelson is aiming for his grand slam career, no matter how unlikely.

Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, Bryson DeChambeau and Justin Thomas are among other stars set to take on Winged Food over 72 holes (they hope) this week. In fact, McIlroy started Round 1 with a bang as he vies for the lead through the first 18 holes at this southern New York course.

Just talk about it. Buckle up for full coverage of the 2020 US Open all week from CBS Sports. Here’s how you can watch the US Open as much as possible on the rest of the days of the week. Be sure to stick with CBS Sports for live coverage throughout the entire tournament.
