A good place to start is the fourth season of the award-winning series. President Josiah “Jed” Bartlet (Martin Sheen) is re-elected.
The west wing Season 4 Episode 7: “Election Night” follows Donna Moss (Janel Moloney) as she tries to exchange votes after realizing she didn’t vote for Bartlet. He spends most of the day standing outside a polling station trying to get people to vote for Bartlet in order to cancel his vote.
Meanwhile, it looks like Sam Seaborn’s (Rob Lowe) time in the White House may be drawing to a close. Running for Congress in California’s 47th District, Sam thinks he will never win.
There’s also a fun time when Josh Lyman (Bradley Whitford) goes to vote. While voting, meet more people who seem to have invalidated their ballets. Thinking that Bartlet was going to lose due to mistakes, Josh panicked. That is until he realizes that it’s all a joke orchestrated by senior White House colleagues.
