Bat at Pacers game against Clippers may have exposed fans to rabies

There has been a wave of bats in the wild at NBA games this season.

Bats flew around the AT & T center twice a few days from each other this month – one of which resulted in an exhilarating rescue of the Spurs mascot.

However, a bat that broke loose at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Thursday during the Indiana Pacers game against the Los Angeles Clippers may have exposed fans to rage.

The Indiana State Department of Health announced that anyone who might have touched the bat with bare skin is invited to contact the department or their health care provider about receiving rabies vaccination, according to & # 39; Associated Press.

Because the bat is no longer inside the arena, its state of rage is currently unknown, according to the report
