Caitlyn Jenner was not informed in advance that “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” was ending.

Being Kris Jenner’s ex-spouse and Kendall and Kylie Jenner’s father, the star is adjacent to Kardashian but has regularly appeared on the show for several seasons. He has since made occasional appearances.

In an interview with Australian “The Morning Show”, Jenner revealed that she was never informed of the show’s end.

“I heard it on the news,” he admitted when asked how he learned of the show̵

“Nobody called me, I heard it through the media,” Jenner continued. “Was I surprised? No. But that show is probably the biggest reality show in history.”

He went on to praise his own daughters and former stepdaughters Khloe, Kourtney and Kim Kardashian for running such a long program alongside their matriarch.

“These girls have done an amazing job of continuing the show, inventing material,” the former Olympic athlete said.

Jenner later recalled meeting with E! We network for the first time with Kris and their daughters and we’re told, ‘We don’t know if we get it, but we’re going to order six shows. A camera that does six shows. “

After only a few episodes, E! ordered more, Jenner recalled before the show’s success was evident.

“It went through there and it seems like it never stopped,” he said. “The girls and Kris did an amazing job with the show and have kept it up for so long.”

He then said he feels “it’s time” for the show to end because “everyone is in a different place now”.

“Nothing lasts forever and the shows come and go. This is by far the best, I think, of any reality show in history,” added Jenner. “So at some point it will end.”

Finally, he noted that many of the family members are embarking on other journeys and feels they “really want to pursue other things probably more now, because that’s where their future lies.”

It was announced on Tuesday that the hit reality show would come to an end in 2021.

The announcement made by Kim via Instagram in a letter “to our amazing fans”. A spokesperson for E! also confirmed the switch to Fox News.

The caption was posted with a poster from the original series showing the entire family in much younger times.

The hugely popular series, which was featured on E! since its inception in 2007 for 20 seasons and hundreds of episodes, he is executive producer of Ryan Seacrest and has produced a myriad of viral moments, as well as stimulating numerous spin-off series.

“We will always love the wonderful memories and the countless people we met along the way,” added the creator of Skims.

Looking back on his time in the franchise, Kardashian expressed gratitude to fans who have remained devoted viewers for nearly 15 years.

“Without ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’, I wouldn’t be where I am today,” he wrote. “I am incredibly grateful to everyone who has watched and supported me and my family over the past 14 amazing years. This show has made us who we are and I will forever be indebted to all who played a role in shaping our careers and forever changing our lives. “
