An 80-year-old Humboldt County resident died in a hospital outside the county after being diagnosed with COVID-19. This marks the eighth death of a county resident related to the virus.
Humboldt County Health Officer, Dr Teresa Frankovich, sent her condolences to the family. “Our thoughts are with friends and family who are feeling this loss,” he said.
Seven new cases of COVID-19 were reported today, bringing the number of county residents testing positive for the virus to 508.
