There have been numerous regulatory barriers in a number of countries that Disney and Fox had to cancel to make the $ 71 billion transaction.
Recently, there has been a lot of speculation about how exactly when the deal is over. While previous reports had suggested the second half of the year, a recent history suggested that the agreement could close as early as this month.
Some rumors have indicated that some of Fox's Marvel characters might appear in one of Marvel's 2019 films, such as Avengers: Endgame Captain Marvel or Spider-Man: Far From Home . This seems unlikely, since the films will be months away from the moment when the acquisition is finalized – only Spider-Man: Far From Home has a new round of shots and Disney will probably wait a Films distributed by Marvel to generate buzz from which they can make money.
While Fox has two X-Men films scheduled for 2019, neither is said to tie up with the Marem Cinematic Universe. X-Men: Dark Phoenix rises in cinemas on 7 June while The New Mutants is scheduled for August 2nd. Afterwards, it is sure that the franchise will be restarted entirely under the Marvel Studios banner.
