Fortnite developer and publisher Epic Games received an F rating from the Better Business Bureau regarding customer service.
The Better Business Bureau announced that Epic Games had the lowest possible rating, an F, due to 247 "unanswered customer complaints".
It is important to note that the Better Business Bureau is simply a network of not-for-profit groups working to improve businesses, not a government agency.

Epic Games is the creator of numerous well-known games that have a global following; in addition to Fortnite and Infinity Blade, they create Unreal, Gears of War and Shadow Complex. The company has grown significantly in the last twelve months and their most popular game, Fortnite, currently boasts more than 6 million followers on Twitter. Most of the complaints submitted to BBB against Epic Games concern customer support and reimbursement or exchange issues. A complainant wrote: "Epic Games has failed to protect customer safety, causing several non-sanctioned charges on my and my partner's account." Another complainant added that "There is no phone number or appropriate email response time to return the unauthorized charge of $ 160. No one will answer and I feel fooled."  BBB tried to contact Epic Games on numerous occasions, but the company did not respond.
