Chris Rock talked about “Fargo” on “Good Morning America”
Rock has sprung Good morning America via video chat to promote FX Season 4 Fargo. While speaking to the show hosts, he first recognized the unfortunate circumstances of the COVID-19 era.
“Before we say anything, let’s recognize how disgusting it is not being able to be in the same room. Let’s go there. Because we normally have a lot of fun together!”
After getting the greetings out of the way, Rock launched into a compelling description Fargo character and provided insights into what excites him about the role. As it turns out, the star is actually a fan of the show’s creator.
“Noah Hawley writes the best parts of the world,” Rock said.

Rock shines on the September 16 cover of The Hollywood Reporter. In the featured article titled “The Rebirth of Chris Rock,” the actor said that his role as Loy Cannon in Fargo it’s the best gig on screen so far. During his interview on Good morning America, he explained why.
“My character is from the 1950s. He’s a crime lord in Kansas City, and he’s just a fully formed character. He is a black man in the 1950s who tries to be a legal businessman and, at the same time, runs a crime empire. He is a father, he is a husband and he is a complicated man in a world that is totally aligned against him. And he is determined to win. “
“Fargo” is a gripping detective series with star talent
Fargo is FX Network’s engaging crime anthology series. Each season follows a different story with new characters in various places and time periods. Rock plays a starring role for the fourth season, following in the footsteps of a slew of fellow Serie A.
The first season saw Billy Bob Thorton, Martin Freeman, Allison Tolman and Colin Hanks. Season two welcomed Kirsten Dunst, Jesse Plemons, Kieran Culkin, Jean Smart, Ted Danson and Patrick Wilson. Ewan McGregor and Mary Elizabeth Winstead led the third season.
A group of Hollywood celebrities join Rock in the fourth season. The cast includes Boardwalk Empire alum Jack Huston, Timothy Olyphant’s Justifiedand Jason Schwartzman of Moonrise Kingdom. Also on board is acting veteran Glynn Turman and a lineup of other talented artists on the roster.
The 1996 Coen Brothers film of the same name inspired Fargo, first presented in April 2014. The series boasts an impressive 92% Fresh Rating on the Tomatometer and a 93% average audience score on Rotten Tomatoes. Fargo Season 4 will release on September 27 at 9pm FX, with episodes streaming the next day on Hulu.
