Several student athletes from Nebraska have given coronavirus positive results. The athletics department of the University of Nebraska confirmed to KETV NewsWatch 7 that five Nebraska soccer players have tested positive for COVID-19. According to the athletics department, a staff member of the soccer team has tested positive for coronavirus. Two other student athletes also tested positive: approximately 250 members of the athletics department, athletes and staff from Nebraska have been tested multiple times in the past three months. The school did not issue a statement or provide additional information.
