7;s General Stores, based in Ankeny, unveiled a new logo Thursday, bringing a change of image for the first time in 52 years. “For half a century, Casey’s logo has been a beacon for good food, convenience and community in the lives of the neighbors, friends and family that our busy team members serve every day,” said Darren Rebelez, CEO by Casey’s. “By embracing this legacy, we are proud to remain at the center of every community we serve as we give guests and communities even more reasons to shop at Casey’s.” The new look features the iconic and familiar barn with white lettering in a different font. The company said the modern look comes as the jumping off point for Casey’s expansion through enhanced online ordering and delivery services and curbside pickup. “From our stores to our menu to our digital experience, Casey’s is delighting our guests in new and exciting ways,” said Chris Jones, chief marketing officer, Casey’s. “Our new logo goes a step further, reflecting who we are and what we stand for in a simple, more modern, recognizable and familiar way to all our guests.” The company said a new store in Ankeny will be the first in the company’s 16-state footprint to feature the new signage. Casey’s will begin rolling out a new brand in its 2,200-plus grocery stores and online channels.
