Samsung announced mass production of the 12 GB LPDDR4X RAM chips with the highest capacity in the world "optimized for tomorrow's premium smartphones". I know what you're thinking: the top of the range Galaxy S10 Plus has a 12 GB RAM? Yes, but the storage in that model very expensive from the eyes is swept away by the new Samsung chips.

While the RAM of the Galaxy S10 Plus is manufactured at 20 nm, the new Samsung chips will be mass-produced at only 10 nm. Samsung says that this will make them much more energy efficient and – with a thickness of just 1.1 mm – much smaller that saves space (read: bigger battery). In addition, Samsung reveals the module capable of running devices will be more than five cameras, larger screens and 5G.

Surprise, surprise, the Galaxy Note 10 will have a total of six cameras, an enlarged screen and 5G .

The first devices with the new modules will actually be the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G edition and the Galaxy Fold which will be launched in the coming months. But both phones will be produced in small quantities and cost almost $ 2,000. They are a starter for the vast majority of buyers.

Which makes the Galaxy Note 10 the real game changer. Samsung timidly reveals that it will "triple the supply" of the new chips "during the second half of 2019", when economies of scale are grafted perfectly for the output of the Galaxy Note 10 in August.

And the new memory is only the first of two punches for the Note. & Nbsp; Samsung will also equip that phone with UFS 3.0 which is twice as fast and more efficient than UFS 2.1 storage in the Galaxy S10 range (presented again with Galaxy S8). This creates a killer combo, as Samsung itself promotes:

"With the mass production of the new LPDDR4X, Samsung offers a complete line of advanced memory to power the new era of smartphones, from DRD from 12 GB to 512 GB of eUFS 3.0 storage, "said Sewon Chun, executive vice president of Samsung Memory Marketing.

All this serves to make the Galaxy S10 range feel less than a week after their release. Given their tenth anniversary status and dramatic redesigns, it seems strange that Samsung will exclude both next-generation chips from the range, so launch them almost immediately afterwards.

This means that the Galaxy Note 10 is in a privileged position to be the best Samsung smartphone ( and most beautiful ) of 2019. It's child's play.
