Hear Weezer’s Thumping New Track ‘Can’t Knock The Hustle’ – Rolling Stone



Weezer released the first song of their next The Black Album which will be released next year through Crush Music / Atlantic Records. The rock song "Can not Knock The Hustle" comes in the form of a music video that plays Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy as an Uber driver.

In the four-minute video, produced by Jerry Media, Wentz plays driver who is sick of his hateful night passengers. While Wentz goes around Los Angeles, he has to deal with a couple who can not stop doing so, to his dismay. Eventually they start arguing, leading to a bloody accident that only serves to amplify the romantic entanglement backseat.

"Can not Knock The Hustle" was produced by Dave Sitek of TV On The Radio, with which the group worked for the first time. It is the first new music by Weezer after the recent publication of a cover of "Africa" ​​by Toto. The band has also announced a series of dates for next spring with the Pixies, which will kick off on March 8 in Louisville, KY. The co-headliner race will end on April 1
