Complex carbohydrates: Complex carbohydrates contain three or more sugar molecules such as oats, brown rice, quinoa, and sweet potatoes. For weight loss, complex carbohydrates are considered more beneficial than simple carbohydrates as our body takes longer to digest them and is more nutritious.
