Kanye West withdrew from the Wisconsin presidential ballot by order of the judge

Kanye West’s offer to enter the Wisconsin presidential ballot was denied by a judge who reportedly said the rapper missed the deadline for submitting his candidacy papers by minutes, according to WBAY. “The plaintiffs ‘dropped the ball’ by failing to make sure they were able to timely submit the candidacy documents,” Judge John Zakowski said in the court ruling. “The ruling also reportedly mentions that West’s campaign rep was warned in advance that the document filing building could be locked before the 5pm deadline, but advised him to call a number on the building to be let in. “The unfortunate fact is this controversy could have been avoided if West representatives had simply arrived first,”

; Zakowski said. West was denied a spot on presidential ballot papers in multiple states for missing deadlines or lack of valid signatures on application petitions.
