Leaders are number 1 and it’s not objectionable

On Monday night we found out that the maximum level has only one team.

There is no longer any doubt as to who deserves the title of the best team in the NFL. The Chiefs̵

7; absolutely dominant performance in a 34-20 win over the Ravens puts all other NFL teams in pursuit mode. We are more likely to have a 16-0 conversation before someone realistically challenges the Chiefs for first place in the NFL.

Cleveland Browns team that has since won twice in a row and eliminated the Houston Texans, mashed potato. Baltimore has been very, very good in the 2019 regular season. The bosses haven’t really exposed the ravens. They just announced to the world how much better they are than the rest of the NFL, including Baltimore. “Data-reactid =” 23 “> The Ravens are still good. They destroyed a Cleveland Browns team that has since won two straight wins, and Wiped out the Houston Texans too. Baltimore has been very, very good in the regular season. of 2019. The Chiefs haven’t really exposed the Ravens. They just announced to the world how much better they are than the rest of the NFL, including Baltimore.

Patrick Mahomes. He has great help, but his greatness is clear to anyone who has seen him throw the ball. And he just turned 25. Not only are the Chiefs clearly number 1 this season, perhaps they will be there well beyond this season. “Data-reactid =” 26 “> Obviously the Chiefs’ dominance is centered around Patrick Mahomes. He has a lot of help, but his greatness is evident to anyone who has seen him throw the ball and has just turned 25. Not only are the Chiefs the clear number 1 this season, maybe they will be there much beyond this season.

Lamar Jackson and he has become a formidable unit, a great coach in Andy Reid, no one in AFC West who will really challenge them, and the player any general manager in football would pick first if the NFL changed everyone. The Super Bowl hangovers don’t bother them either. “Data-reactid =” 27 “> The Chiefs have the best offense in the NFL, a defense that blocked Lamar Jackson and became a formidable unit, a great coach in Andy Reid, no one in AFC West who will really challenge them, and the player any football CEO would pick first if the NFL changed everyone, not even the Super Bowl hangovers bother them.

Green Bay Packers, who went 15-1 and no one remembers why he lost the first playoff. What we saw on Monday night doesn’t necessarily mean the Chiefs are heading to a Super Bowl. “Data-reactid =” 28 “> Things happen in the NFL. It takes one bad day in a competitive league to lose in the playoffs and everyone forgets how good you were. Ask the 2011 Green Bay Packers, who went 15-1 and none he remembers why they missed their playoff start. What we saw on Monday night doesn’t necessarily mean the Chiefs are walking for a Super Bowl.

But it’s impossible to pick anyone else after what we saw in Baltimore. Until further notice, there are two tiers: The Chiefs and then everyone else.

The Jets have been incredibly bad in three games. Sharp Football Analysis’s Rich Hribar had the overwhelming statistics:

If the Jets aren’t beating the Broncos at home Thursday on Thursday, we should start wondering if we’re seeing a historically bad team.

Sam Darnold seems like a lost cause, e Daniel JonesSeason 2 also doesn’t start well. Everyone seems to be on the hot seat in both franchises. It’s starting to seem likely that Trevor Lawrence will play in New York next season, but for which team? “Data-reactid =” 48 “> Not only did the Giants and Jets start 0-6, but they also have the two worst point differentials in the NFL for three weeks. Sam Darnold of the Jets looks like a lost cause, and neither is the second season of Daniel Jones is starting off well. Everyone seems to be on the hot seat in both series. It starts to seem likely that Trevor Lawrence is playing in New York next season, but for which team?

Dwayne Haskins Jr. is with notice. Maybe the Alex Smith the story is too good to leave alone, or Ron Rivera believes Kyle Allen more than it should. But Haskins can’t keep fighting and keep playing, and once he’s on the bench, you have to wonder if Washington will look for another quarterback next offseason. “Data-reactid =” 52 “> Dwayne Haskins Jr. is on the alert. Maybe Alex Smith’s story is too good to leave her alone, or Ron Rivera believes in Kyle Allen more than he should. But Haskins can’t keep fighting and keep playing, and once he’s benched, you have to ask yourself if Washington will be looking for another quarterback next offseason.

Tee Higgins played in front of John Ross, and thus had more shots and targets than A.J. green on Sunday. Higgins wasn’t particularly efficient, with 40 yards on nine targets, but he captured two touchdowns. Higgins and Joe Burrow could be a nice combination for many years. “Data-reactid =” 54 “> Second round pick Tee Higgins played ahead of John Ross, and on Sunday he had more shots and targets than AJ Green. Higgins wasn’t overly efficient, with 40 yards on nine targets, but he caught two touchdowns Higgins and Joe Burrow could be a nice combination for many years.

Jacksonville Jaguars (1-2, LW: 25)“data-reactid =” 63 “>27. Jacksonville Jaguars (1-2, LW: 25)

Pro Football Focus “ high-level linebacker for two weeks. In the third week, he had 11 tackles to lead the jaguars. He’s only 25 and gives the Jaguars another vital piece to build on. “Data-reactid =” 64 “> Myles Jack moved as outside linebacker and that unlocked a long-awaited breakout. Jack was the top ranked Pro Football Focus linebacker for two weeks. In week three, he faced 11 tackles to lead the jaguars He’s only 25 years old and offers the jaguars another vital piece to build on.

Atlanta Falcons (0-3, LW: 21)“data-reactid =” 65 “>26. Atlanta Falcons (0-3, LW: 21)

he did it in consecutive weeks. The good news is that the Falcons held a big lead over the Cowboys and Bears, so realistically they’re not as bad as their 0-3 record. How about optimism? “Data-reactid =” 66 “> It seemed surreal on Sunday in the fourth quarter, when the Falcons had another double-digit lead. It seems impossible that this has happened for the second consecutive week, because in more than 100 years of the NFL, it was never The Falcons are the first team to lose two games over an entire season in which they led by 15 or more points in the fourth quarter, according to Elias Sports, and he did it in consecutive weeks. The good news is that the Falcons held a big lead over the Cowboys and Bears, so realistically they aren’t as bad as their 0-3 record. How about optimism?

Minnesota Vikings (0-3, LW: 23)“data-reactid =” 67 “>25. Minnesota Vikings (0-3, LW: 23)

Dalvin Cook looked great, the coaches finally let Justin Jefferson play, the attack had his best game and they still lost at home. I’m in a 3-0 two-team division and it’s really hard to see Minnesota dig out of this hole.

Carolina Panthers (1-2, LW: 31)“data-reactid =” 69 “>24. Carolina Panthers (1-2, LW: 31)

Shaq Thompson was great in the Panthers’ upset win at the Chargers. He posted 13 tackles, forced a fumble and recovered it, and scored top marks from Pro Football Focus among all Panthers defenders. Thompson is replacing retiree Luke Kuechly well, which isn’t easy.

Philadelphia Eagles (0-2-1, LW: 20)“data-reactid =” 71 “>23. Philadelphia Eagles (0-2-1, LW: 20)

Just because football culture says it’s wrong to settle for a draw it doesn’t mean it was a careless move. “data-reactid =” 72 “> A quick defense of Doug Pederson’s decision to aim late for Sunday’s extra time: it’s week 3, and a half win could be important in the terrible NFC East. A half win allowed the Eagles to earn a game against the other three teams in the division, who all lost.Pederson’s options were to go to the fourth and 12 with his 49, try a 64-yard goal or punt field and take one half of a win. If the Eagles change their season, they will appreciate a draw instead of taking a low percentage shot for a win Just because football culture says it’s wrong to settle for a draw doesn’t mean it was the imprudent move.

Miami Dolphins (1-2, LW: 27)“data-reactid =” 73 “>22. Miami Dolphins (1-2, LW: 27)

The Dolphins’ bad start may have been the result of a start against the Bills and Patriots. They looked pretty good against jaguars. Miami is not on the level of Buffalo and New England, but it can still be a competitive team as it continues its rebuilding.

Detroit Lions (1-2, LW: 29)“data-reactid =” 79 “>21. Detroit Lions (1-2, LW: 29)

The crime of the Lions could be close to a real breakout. If they operate with a little more pace, they are more efficient in the red zone and Kenny Golladay stays healthy, they might have something. A comeback win in Arizona on Sunday gives Lions hope to change things.

Houston Texans (0-3, LW: 22)“data-reactid =” 81 “>20. Houston Texans (0-3, LW: 22)

Texans started in Kansas City, hosted Baltimore and played in Pittsburgh. It is an incredibly difficult stretch to start the season. Texans may not be good, but it’s also possible they are much better than their record. The schedule will loosen and we will find out.

Los Angeles battery charger (1-2, LW: 18)“data-reactid =” 83 “>19. Los Angeles battery charger (1-2, LW: 18)

a perfect play was not performed. It was a game the Chargers can’t really afford to lose. “Data-reactid =” 84 “> The Chargers scored 16 points against a bad Panthers defense, despite 330 yards from Justin Herbert, 132 yards from Keenan Allen and 11 catches from Austin Ekeler. They lost a game they wouldn’t have had to lose, and they were never really in the game until the very end, when a perfectly elaborate trick play was performed. It was a game that the Chargers can’t really afford to lose.

Dallas Cowboys (1-2, LW: 17)“data-reactid =” 85 “>18. Dallas Cowboys (1-2, LW: 17)

Dak Prescott is on pace for a 6,336-yard pass. And all Cowboys have to prove it because it’s a lucky win and two losses. The defense wasn’t good enough, and that’s an understatement. Yet because NFC East is so bad, Dallas is still a prohibitive favorite to win a division title.

Cleveland Browns (2-1, LW: 19)“data-reactid =” 89 “>17. Cleveland Browns (2-1, LW: 19)

Since losing to the Ravens, the Browns are 2-0 with a couple of 30-point games. They played with the Bengals and Washington, so maybe there isn’t much to learn. But after all these years down, nobody should be shouting “the Browns didn’t beat anyone” to their fans. Let Cleveland enjoy it.

Indianapolis Colts (2-1, LW: 16)“data-reactid =” 91 “>16. Indianapolis Colts (2-1, LW: 16)

The Colts played against Jaguars, Vikings and Jets, all of which combined for a 1-8 record. And in the only win, the Jaguars over the Colts, Indianapolis overtook Jacksonville 445-241. Long story short, the Colts haven’t played a difficult schedule. But in the past two weeks they have defeated Vikings and Jets, which is a good sign. We will just have to wait for them to play a quality opponent before we know who the Colts are.

Chicago Bears (3-0, LW: 15)“data-reactid =” 93 “>15. Chicago Bears (3-0, LW: 15)

The Bears have two insane comeback wins and beat a bad Giants team 17-13 when they stopped at their 10-yard line when time ran out. The Bears replaced quarterback Mitchell Trubisky – which Matt Nagy seemed absolutely ready to do, considering he snatched Trubisky after a pick on Sunday – and he will go with Nick Foles in week 4 and likely beyond. It is better to understand things at 3-0, but Chicago is not an unbeaten power. They could easily be 0-3 right now.

New Orleans Saints (1-2, LW: 8)“data-reactid =” 95 “>14. New Orleans Saints (1-2, LW: 8)

In three games, Drew Brees’ average target depth is 5.2 yards. This is the last in the league, 1.2 yards from Sam Darnold’s second-lowest mark. No one else is lower than 6.8. If Brees still feels good and can throw the ball as he says he can, the Saints must open the attack and prove it. Maybe Michael Thomas ‘eventual return changes everything, but Sunday night it seemed that the Saints’ offense was dumping him on Alvin Kamara and hoping he might make something happen. This won’t get the saints very far.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-1, LW: 14)“data-reactid =” 97 “>13. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-1, LW: 14)

Rob Gronkowski led the Bucs with seven targets and played 93 percent of the shots. In three games, he still has no catch longer than 10 yards. The Bucs are joining, with a defense that looks very strong and Tom Brady coming out of a 297 yard game, but they will have to figure out what to do with Gronkowski. He’s a legend and a future Hall of Famer, but he’s not the same player he was.

Las Vegas Raiders (2-1, LW: 13)“data-reactid =” 99 “>12. Las Vegas Raiders (2-1, LW: 13)

The Raiders were in a tough spot, heading east for an early start against an angry team of Patriots. Last Monday night they were taking a thrilling win in their first game in Las Vegas. It’s no big surprise that they were flat. Next week’s home game against the Bills will be a better test.

Arizona Cardinals (2-1, LW: 12)“data-reactid =” 101 “>11. Arizona Cardinals (2-1, LW: 12)

Kyler Murray’s first interception came from the Detroit 30-yard line. His second and third interception led to 10 Lions points. Considering how dynamic Murray is, it’s easy to forget he’s at the start of his second NFL season. There will still be mistakes and some will cost the Cardinals games they should win.

Los Angeles Rams (2-1, LW: 7)“data-reactid =” 103 “>10. Los Angeles Rams (2-1, LW: 7)

How do you analyze what happened on Sunday? The Rams returned from 28-3 to take a lead in the fourth quarter and would have had the biggest comeback in franchise history had it not been for questionable interference on passing the fourth down at the end. On the other hand, they fell behind at 28-3 and when they needed a stop, they couldn’t get it. It still looks like the Rams can take some positives out of a leak.

San Francisco 49ers (2-1, LW: 11)“data-reactid =” 105 “>9. San Francisco 49ers (2-1, LW: 11)

Given the 49ers injury list, winning an NFL game 36-9 is truly impressive. The win and the work Kyle Shanahan did to get his team ready will be dismissed in a flurry of Giants jokes. Don’t underestimate what the 49ers did on Sunday. It was as impressive as any win in the NFL in week three.

New England Patriots (2-1, LW: 10)“data-reactid =” 107 “>8. New England Patriots (2-1, LW: 10)

The fact that New England won decisively on Sunday means that the Patriots are really the same old Patriots. They just don’t lose games like that, coming out of a defeat and at home against a team they should beat. The Patriots are not going anywhere this season no matter how many players they have lost.

Tennessee Titans (3-0, LW: 9)“data-reactid =” 109 “>7. Tennessee Titans (3-0, LW: 9)

We think Derrick Henry is invincible because he’s so big, but it’s fair to wonder if he can keep up this pace of tapping. He has 82 carries in three games. Josh Jacobs is second with 68 and no one else in the NFL in Sunday’s games had more than 58. In the Titans’ last 12 games, including the playoffs, Henry has 304 carries, more than 25 per game. The Titans went from ignoring Henry’s prodigious talent for nearly three full seasons to trying to wear him out before Halloween.

Pittsburgh Steelers (3-0, LW: 5)“data-reactid =” 111 “>6. Pittsburgh Steelers (3-0, LW: 5)

The Steelers passed the eye test, but they let all three opponents hold back longer than you would have liked. It looks like they have another piece of gear we haven’t seen yet, given all their talent. We’ll see if they can unlock that level and become a real contender in AFC.

Seattle Seahawks (3-0, LW: 4)“data-reactid =” 113 “>5. Seattle Seahawks (3-0, LW: 4)

before crossing the goal line will be revisited. And it’s not at all crazy to think that Wilson can take on 55 touchdowns this season. “Data-reactid =” 114 “> If Russell Wilson falls a touchdown before Peyton Manning’s record of 55 in a single season, DK Metcalf slackens before passing the goal the line will be revisited and it’s not at all crazy to think Wilson can challenge 55 touchdowns this season.

Green Bay Packers (3-0, LW: 6)“data-reactid =” 115 “>4. Green Bay Packers (3-0, LW: 6)

The Packers are going crazy on offense. On Sunday they scored 37 points without Front Adams. They have the most points in the first three games of a season in the team’s history. Aaron Rodgers is having an MVP start to the season. After an impressive victory over the Saints, they should be seen as the most complete team in the NFC.

Buffalo Bills (3-0, LW: 3)“data-reactid =” 117 “>3. Buffalo Bills (3-0, LW: 3)

Josh Allen continues to play well and even though they were lucky in the end to get that pass interference call, 3-0 is a great place to be. “data-reactid =” 118 “> The Packers have nearly taken third place. I still believe in the Bills, but almost losing a 28-3 lead in their first real test this season wasn’t a great sign (it’s also a which is why I’m not as high this week.) However, Josh Allen continues to play well and even though they were lucky to get that pass interference call at the end, 3-0 is a great place to be.

Baltimore Ravens (2-1, LW: 1)“data-reactid =” 119 “>2. Baltimore Ravens (2-1, LW: 1)

No, they’re not going far. Here’s why: I’d pick the Ravens to beat every other team in the NFL. The bosses are simply operating on a different level than everyone else right now, and they demonstrated it on Monday night. The Bills, Packers, Seahawks, Steelers, whoever … they too would be killed on Monday night. The ravens will be fine now that they no longer see the leaders.

Heads of Kansas City (3-0, LW: 2)“data-reactid =” 121 “>1. Heads of Kansas City (3-0, LW: 2)

Sports Writer Problem: We still have 10-15 years to write about Patrick Mahomes’ career and we have already run out of adjectives to describe his greatness.
