The finest details
As you may have seen from some trailers, the details of the flight simulators stretch as far as the eye can see!
Animals are featured in the game and include elephants, giraffes, flamingos and more!
And from some of the footage we’ve seen, even the wild life has an amazing level of detail. They are also well animated and look great up close.
You will also see cars and vehicles moving on land, which gives the feeling of flying over a living, breathing world.
The details don’t stop there either, with one Reddit user showing how accurately the game recreates landmarks around the world by comparing them to images from Google Earth. Spoiler alert: they are almost creepy!
With its improved physics engine, Flight Sim will look much more realistic.
You will still be able to use compatible joystick controls
making the game incredibly realistic.
Whether the game will involve tactile responses to changes in elevation and turbulence, we don’t know yet and will have to wait for more information on this, or even for a full version of the game.

The most peculiar requirement is, of course, the bandwidth.
Then again, in order for the “seamless” multiplayer feature to really pay off, you should at least aim for the recommended requirements.
In a recent interview, the developers confirmed that the minimum bandwidth should still be more than enough to still have a “good representation of the world”.
10 disc version
For those who wish to own a physical copy of the epic Flight Simulator, you may be getting more than you thought … ten times more in fact.
For players in Europe, you will be able to purchase a pack of 10 game discs, which come in an expandable box.
Why buy discs when you can download them? Well, remember that not everyone has super-fast internet access or space for the whopping 150GB of data for the new game.
The disks reach up to 90GB of data and don’t require insane internet speeds to install. However, an update from Microsoft will still be required before you can play the game.
World and simulation updates
There will be free updates in the future that will come in two forms: world updates and changes to the simulation part of the game.
The world is continually updated by the latest data from Bing Maps and actually updates every 28 days!
There will also be new airports, landing challenges, and more in the future.
When it comes to simulation changes, the focus is more on flight mechanics and perfecting the flight simulation experience.
Will there be DLCs?
Good news for Flight Sim players, as there will be DLC coming to the game.
Microsoft Flight Simulator is planning to introduce paid DLC, which will arrive every few months.
We’re super excited to see how the game expands and expands their already impressive vehicle catalog!
