Minecraft reveals Halloween plans for various things

Mojang revealed details over the weekend of what they have planned throughout Minecraft for Halloween 2020. Along with some in0game events across all of their titles, you can also get into the love of costumes with some official merchandise to make yourself look like one of the different characters or objects in the game. Why who wouldn’t want a Creeper dress with a TNT headband? You can read the full details below and check out a couple of pictures, and you can visit their website for fun things to do related to the game without having to play it.

  • Minecraft Dungeons: Bring out those jack-o-lanterns for the Spooky Fall Event! From October 27th to November 3rd, Limited-Time Season Trials will bring supernaturally complicated challenges and otherworldly rewards. If you can face the seasonal trials and emerge safely on the other side, you’ll get exclusive gear and weapons that are a must for this spooky season! These Seasonal Trials will summon the spookiest mobs and turn off the lights with the new Night Mode, an even more challenging way to play.
  • Minecraft Market:Starting October 27 at 10am PT / 6pm CET, the Minecraft Marketplace Halloween acquisition will include a curated collection of Halloween themed content. We will also have a collection of sweet treats to choose from in Character Creator during the acquisition. There will also be a free Halloween skin with a Marketplace partner until the event concludes on November 3 at 10am PT / 7pm. CET.
  • Minecraft Earth:A new season is about to begin Minecraft Earth! The Boo! Frightening! the event has all new challenges to unlock and exciting Character Creator themed items. And on October 20th, the witch, the witch Viler and the climbing zombie will sneak in and make their way into the game.
  • Spooky season at home: Since we’re doing our best to stay home and prevent the spread of COVID-19, we offer free downloadable DIY masks and stencils as part of our fun Minecraft Halloween kit at home! All you have to do is download them, print them, then customize them with all the tools you have at home!
