Netflix presents the new CG animated film Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness

Netflix surprised everyone today with news that in addition to the upcoming live-action Resident Evil series currently in development, we’re also getting a CGI film with Claire Redfield and Leon S. Kennedy. Revealed via Netflix Portugal (and it appears accidentally, as the tweet was deleted), Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness is scheduled for release in 2021.

No further information about the film has been released, including just who will handle the dubbing duties for Claire and Leon. Hopefully Capcom will employ Nick Apostolides and Stephanie Panisello, but we’ll have to see.
