Hello Games has announced its next big expansion for No Man's Sky. The "Beyond" update is scheduled for this summer and will be free for all players. It was accompanied by a short trailer showing a hanger, the title and not much else.
A blog post introducing the update says that Hello Games had planned three great features and eventually decided to do them all in one expansion. Although two of these have remained below the shells for now, the first component that the team is outlining is called No Man's Sky Online. The newly revised online component will allow players to meet and play together more easily, but the studio warns that it does not consider this a move to an MMO. It will remain free for all players, will not contain micro-transactions and will not require a subscription (apart from Xbox Live Gold or PS Plus on consoles).
As for the other Beyond pieces, Hello says it will be "talk more about each component when we know we can be precise."
Last year, No Man & # 39; s Sky had a a large-scale update called Next which served as a major overhaul, and earned him a place among our best expansions of 201
The game has come a long way since its initial version, which has been criticized for not respecting its ambitious ambitions. A part of this simply did not satisfy part of the promotion surrounding the game, so the blog comment on how not to open up to Beyond pieces still seems like Hello has learned to manage expectations.
