Hello Games announced No Man & # 39; s Sky: Beyond the next free upgrade for its procedurally generated space exploration game. The update will consist of three components, but only one was announced today: No Man & # 39; s Sky Online . Hello Games offers almost no details on what Online is but teases a new "radical" multiplayer experience.
Hello Games states that the update will allow "players throughout the universe to meet and play together." But beyond this brief blurb, Hello Games does not share any details about what 39 update will imply, in addition to saying that the "changes are a response to how we have seen people play since the release of NEXT " the fourth major update of the game that was released last year.
This update NEXT has added multiplayer support for up to 1
Outside of No Man & # 39; s Sky Online Hello Games promises that there will be two add-ons to Beyond although I am not announcing further details at this time. By hinting at the criticisms leveled at the game after its release, the developer says he will share more "when we know we can be precise".
No Man & # 39; s Sky: Beyond will be the fifth major update to the game when this summer is released, after last year's NEXT update. For a more in-depth look at the changes the game has undergone since its original 2016 version, see The travel diary of 20 entries of Verge .
