New features are coming to Red Dead Online.
New features and enhancements will be added to the Red Dead Online Beta on February 26th, including a new law and Bounty system, weapon balancing and mini-map changes for players.
prevent players from being repeated targets on the map, Rockstar said that the visibility of players will be reduced over long distances ̵
A new system will also be put in place to shed light on overly aggressive and destructive players. The more a player becomes hostile in the game, the more visible that player on the map becomes.
Rockstar notes that aggressive behavior includes attacking and killing other players or their horses outside of a structured mode, free Roam mission, event, or competition.
Several Posse improvements and improvements on Feuds will be included in the update. Parleys may be initiated by the player's entire Posse of their attacker after a single kill. Or, players can pose a challenge to the opponent with a Feud, Posse Feud or Leader Feud after a killing – which is basically a mini-deathmatch style game at the time limit.
The new Law and Bounty system will give high-level players the opportunity to fight against a Bounty Hunter of the NPC – which could end with a positive or negative outcome.
Criminal behavior will be higher than others, less crimes, as if you kill another player against assaulting a random person in the city. Looting and looting are, however, considered to be crimes of a lower level and will diminish your honor.
The daily challenges will offer more variety, including the sale of objects in a fence, hunting and skin of animals, the search for herbs, the removal of hiding places and more. Rockstar plans to continually expand daily challenges for rewards, streaks and other bonuses that players can acquire.
Other enhancements from community feedback include rebalancing the accuracy of the Varmint Rifle, reducing voice chat for closer proximity, and loading horses that will continue because of the many problems.
