Tarrant County reported 263 new coronavirus cases on Monday after closing a record week for new cases.
There were a total of 11,739 COVID-19 cases, including 225 deaths and at least 5,059 recoveries in the county.
New cases in the county have declined daily since it hit a record high of 544 on June 23, according to a county coronavirus data chart by the date of the report. The county recorded a weekly record of 2,548 cases from June 22-28, surpassing the record set the previous week of over 900 cases.
