A new photo from the set of The Batman could tease the DC Flash speedster that exists in the Matt Reeves universe, starring Robert Pattinson’s Dark Knight.
The last photo set by The Batman could anticipate the existence of the Flash in Matt Reeves’ DC movie. After Ben Affleck’s release as the Dark Knight and before his return to The flash, Warner Bros. and DC Films have been remodeled The Batman to go on without him. Reeves was called in to direct and Robert Pattinson was cast to play a new Bruce Wayne. Fans got a first glimpse The Batman with a teaser trailer that debuts during DC FanDome.
Before viewers had a chance to see what Reeves and Pattinson think The Batman it would seem, one of the biggest questions surrounding the film was how or whether it was related to the DC Extended Universe. It has since been confirmed that The Batman it exists in a separate universe but is still tangentially related across the multiverse. This has led many to believe that Pattinson̵
Production in progress The Batman he will soon move to Chicago and has already led to the creation of sets and sets. The set is not currently closed and has allowed some to roam what will soon become Gotham. Fox News 32 yet Jake Hamilton walked through the set and shared some photos of Chicago’s transformation into Gotham, and one is particularly noteworthy. Hamilton shared a photo of a torn flyer and one piece that remained includes a logo that is incredibly similar to that of the superhero DC Flash.
At first glance, this logo is not a direct match to the usual Flash logo, although the single bolt design bears similarities to the early logos used for Flash in comics. Even without a direct translation from the comics, Reeves has already shown a willingness to put his own twist on the logos, with the Batman logo being an original design for the film. The same could be true of this potential Flash Easter egg, as it doesn’t match the one Ezra Miller’s Flash wears. This shouldn’t be too surprising since then The Batman takes place in a separate universe, but this would indicate that another version of the Flash exists in this universe if this is an Easter egg for the Scarlet Speedster.
As there is still a chance this lightning bolt isn’t Flash-related, fans should moderate expectations for now. However, this possible Flash Easter egg and the apparent existence of Superman and Wonder Woman indicate The Batman set in a world where Batman isn’t the only superhero around. Reeves may not build his own shared DC universe with new versions of Superman, Flash and more, but maybe The Batman will include more great DC heroes as the franchise progresses.
