DENVER (KDVR) – Sunday will begin sunny and dry with temperatures reaching the mid-80s in the afternoon. Scattered thunderstorms will enter after 2:00 p.m. and will slide southeast throughout the afternoon and evening through the mountains, Front Range and the eastern plains.
Storms have the potential to become severe on Sunday afternoon with an ongoing marginal risk. In the strongest storms that develop, hail of up to a quarter and gusts of wind at 60 miles per hour are possible.
Sparse storms will move again on Monday with high temperatures in the mid-1980s.
Isolated storms will be possible every afternoon for the rest of the week. High temperatures will return to the 90s again by Friday.
