Type 2 diabetes: Best exercise to prevent high blood sugar – HIIT



Type 2 diabetes can lead to serious health conditions, such as nerve damage, kidney problems and cardiovascular disease if left untreated, so it is important to take appropriate measures to prevent its development. Some simple lifestyle changes can help keep blood sugar levels under control based on what causes the condition. One of the causes is the lack of exercise that can lead to being overweight. Being more active is recommended to prevent type 2 diabetes – but which exercise is more effective?

A study by the Aarhus University Hospital in Denmark found that HIIT can help reduce the risk of type 2 diabetes by keeping blood glucose levels within healthy ranges.

HIIT, which stands for High Intensity Interval Training, is a form of interval training that provides short periods of intense anaerobic exercise with less intense recovery periods.

The trainer Zana Morris revealed the other advantages of doing HIIT.

He told Waitrose & Partners magazine: "The short bursts of exercise of High Intensity Training make it easier to include a workout in a busy week, but its benefits do not stop there.

"It's also one of the quickest ways to increase strength and endurance when building lean mass and burning fat.

"In fact, a study conducted by researchers at McMaster University in Canada found that three 20-minute sessions of intense exercise intervals per week (working at 85 percent of maximum heart rate) can provide the same benefits ten hours of constant training for a period of two weeks.

"High intensity workouts cause massive muscle fiber disturbances, and this increases your metabolic rate for anything from two to 24 hours after your workout.

"This means your body keeps burning a little more fat even when you are resting."

Losing weight, especially if you are overweight, will make it easier for your body to lower blood sugar, as well as improve blood pressure and cholesterol, such as NHS.

A poor diet can also lead to the development of type 2 diabetes, and while there is nothing you can not eat if you have the condition, the health authority recommends limiting certain foods.

We recommend: "Eat a wide range of foods, including fruits, vegetables and some starchy foods such as pasta.

" Keep sugar, fat and salt to a minimum.

"Eat your kfast breasts, lunch and dinner every day ̵

A recent study showed that consumption of an egg every day seems associated with a blood-related metabolic profile related to a minor risk of type 2 diabetes.
