According to a new poll from CNBC / Change Research, most voters in six 2020 states do not consider either President Donald Trump or Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden to be mentally fit to be president.

The findings in the pivotal states of Arizona, Florida, Michigan, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin were released Thursday amid a Trump campaign-backed push to portray Biden as unable to handle office demands. Most of the respondents in those states, who will play a huge role in determining the winner of the presidential election, don̵

7;t even have confidence in Trump’s ability to take office.

A majority of 51% said Trump is mentally unfit to be president, while 49% said he is fit for the job. A similar share, with a margin of 52% to 48%, responded that Biden is mentally unfit to be president.
