YouTuber Logan Paul Under Fire After Saying He’ll “Go Gay” for a Month

Logan Paul, an actor and popular Internet personality, is facing a reaction to insensitive comments he made this week during an episode of his podcast, Impaulsive .

The 23-year-old feeling of social media shocked some listeners as they discussed new year's resolutions with host Mike Majlak, joking about trends like "sober vegan January" and "fatal February", referring to a return to drinking and to the meat – to eat.

"It's only the male, March," Paul continued, laughing. "We will try to go gay for a month".

"Logan Paul jokes about being gay" for a month "while countless LGBT + around the world is killed and commits suicide for their sexuality, it's disgusting, "tweeted the social media Daniel Preda.

"Being gay is not a choice, being gay is not a phase, being gay should not be used for a trend and subscribers," added Disney Channel star Skai Jackson. "Grow up Logan Paul."

Even GLAAD replied, "That's not how it works."

Paul replied to the tweet of GLAAD Friday, writing, "very poor choice of words … my fault … let's go together and talk about it on my podcast next week?"

Paul previously incited the outrage last year when he posted a video on YouTube showing the body of an alleged suicide victim in Japan. Paul canceled the video, apologized and later created a video dedicated to education and suicide prevention.

"I know I've made mistakes, I know I've disappointed people," he said in the clip. "But what happens when you are given the opportunity to help make a difference in the world? It is time to learn from the past while I am improving and growing as a human being."

"I know for sure that everything I do from this moment you will receive criticism, a backlash will be triggered, because I am very polarizing guy ", he said in a following vlog. "You love me or you hate me … I'm not going anywhere."

Celebrity Interviewer. Foodie and Broadway foodies in Manhattan. He hates writing bios.
